A. What is Application Letter
Application letter is a document sent to company leaders or recruiters to apply for a job. This letter contains specific interests, qualifications and experiences that are considered relevant to fill the available job vacancies.
This job application letter should highlight your accomplishments and skills to catch the attention of recruiters or HR. When written well, this cover letter will explain to the reader why they should invite you for an interview and judge you as a good fit for the job vacancy available.
A good job application letter can catch the attention of a recruiter or HR and set you apart from other candidates. Show if your professional goals and aspirations align with the company's goals to get your cover letter noticed.
B. Function
The job application letter functions as a means of communication between the applicant and the job recipient, the job application letter also functions as an initial assessment tool, whether it is suitable to be placed in the position that has been selected or included in the application letter or not.

D. Fixed Expression
1) Heading
Heading is the first part of the letter or head of the letter. It contains the sender's contact information consisting of name, address, telephone number, and email. In addition to contact information, the Heading section also contains the date of writing the letter and company contact information consisting of the name and title of the recipient (recruiter), as well as the name and address of the company.
2) Opening Greeting
This section contains greetings in formal language. Usually in this section we write the word 'Dear' followed by the name of the recipient (recruiter) and a comma (,). For example, "Dear John Cena,".
3) Introductory Paragraph
This section is the opening paragraph which contains an explanation that you are applying for a particular job or position at the company you are aiming for along with the reasons you are applying for that position. You can mention what made you interested in applying for the position.
4) Highlighting Paragraph
This section is the most important part, aka the highlight of your cover letter. This section is the core paragraph that contains the qualifications and special abilities you have which are of course related to the job you are applying for.
5) Closing Paragraph
Closing Paragraph is a paragraph that contains a thank you to the company or recruiter for their consideration of the application you sent.
6) Complimentary Paragraph
This section contains closing greetings. In this section you can explain that you hope to be able to discuss further about the job you are applying for through an interview with the recruiter.
7) Signature
Finally, you can close your letter with your signature and full name.
